Greetings Kendall County Retired Teachers,

As Texas Retired Teachers Members, we have much to be joyful for the past year. The most significant, of

course, is the repeal of the WEP and GPO. In the Boerne and Comfort ISD areas, one thousand two

hundred fifty-four (1,254) retired educators received social security increases totaling NINE MILLION,

three hundred sixty-eight thousand and eight hundred fifty-one dollars ($9,368,851.00). Wow! Just think

in our lifetime! Who would have thought this would be possible! Not only did we receive more retirement

income, but more money also came with NO increase in our TRS health premiums. We owe Tim Lee,

Brock Greg, and the entire TRTA staff a debt of gratitude for the countless hours, days, and months that

they spent working towards this wonderful outcome!​​

Volunteer Hours

Another way to demonstrate TRTA/KCRTA strength-in-numbers is by

turning in the volunteer hours that you accrued from January thru

December of 2025. See more in news letter above for details.
